The Joys of Writing

I love being a writer. What I can't stand is the paperwork.
~ Peter De Vries Ah, touché... I'm trying to be more organized with my invoices, submissions, etc., so I've recently set up a new filing system. I'm keeping paper and electronic copies AND entering them into an Excel spreadsheet, but maybe this is overkill. Any tips on what works for you folks?
